Cathodic Protection
Titanium Anodes are widely used in the Cathodic Protection industry in applications using Impressed Current systems (ICCP), our customers use them for protecting rebars in reinforced concrete as well as metal structures and pipelines in the Oil&Gas and other industries.
Titanium anodes have various advantages compared with soluble anodes:
- Stability of size
- Flexibility of shapes
- Optimal distribution and control of the protection’s potential
- Long duration
- Wide surfaces to protect: reinforced concrete
Our trademarked HISEO® product line is available in all industry standard shapes and sizes:
- Solid ribbons
- Mesh ribbons
- Power feed connector
- Wires
- Tubes
- Bars
- Nets
- Strips
- Rods
- Wavy
We supply these geometries worldwide, each one with its purpose-engineered coating.
Customizable solutions for every need
Impressed Current Cathodic Protection has extensively proved to be a highly efficient corrosion protection technique. It is widely applicable in different environments such as concrete, sand, soil and water since the only crucial requirement is the presence of a conductive electrolyte between the MMO anode and the cathode to be protected. Given the versatility offered by ICCP, we receive a continuously increasing number of requests for anodes with specific sizes and shapes, and/or with particularly designed operative parameters in terms of current output and service life expectancy. At Chemical Newtech, we are always keen to discuss about custom designed anodes, and to develop/implement lab scale testing procedures that goes beyond those stated by the standard testing methods.
